RUM 1823 pays homage to the long tradition of the Etter Distillery. According to the family chronicle, this tradition began on the “Bergli” farm below the Gubel hill above Menzingen in the picturesque Zug region. Thus, in 1823, the foundation was laid for the success story of Distillerie Etter Söhne AG. Inspired by trade relations with Jamaica and distilled according to old family recipes, RUM 1823 combines Swiss craftsmanship with Caribbean flavors.
