A Cuvée Barrique made from the Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Gamaret, and Divico grape varieties, all of which are grown in the same vineyard near the Weinrebenkapelle in Hünenberg.

Blending different grape varieties into a harmonious cuvée enhances the quality of our Chäppeli wine, as it combines the various positive characteristics of the different grape varieties.
For particularly good vintages, we age the wine in an oak barrel. This gives our cuvée a subtle vanilla aroma, and the tannins from the oak barrel add depth, a spicy note, and a fragrance reminiscent of black cherries.
Pairs well with pasta, grilled meats, game, lamb, and roasts.

Behind the Brand:
The Hünenberg Vineyard Chapel Cooperative cares for and maintains the idyllically situated chapel, which is dedicated to “Mary, Mother of Good Counsel.” Directly below the chapel lies the vineyard (40 aren), which was first planted in 1980 and steadily expanded in the years that followed.

The Hünenberg Vineyard Chapel is also the starting point of a hiking trail that winds through the vineyards, from winery to winery, along the Reuss River to Meisterswil and on to Risch (Breitfeld).
