RUM1823 – Schweizer Destillierkunst mit karibischem Erbe
RUM1823 is a tribute to the long tradition of the Etter distillery. According to the family chronicle, this began on the “Bergli” farm below the Gubel above Menzingen in picturesque Zugerland. The foundation stone for the success story of Distillerie Etter Söhne AG was thus laid in 1823. Inspired by trade relations with Jamaica and distilled according to old family recipes, RUM1823 combines Swiss craftsmanship with Caribbean flavors.
Why RUM1823 is special:
- Steeped in history: the name commemorates the start of distillation by the Etter family in 1823.
- High-quality ingredients: Made from golden-brown, aromatic sugar cane molasses from Jamaica.
- Maturation and refinement: Several years of storage in bourbon barrels and refinement with pure spring water from the Höllgrotten caves in Baar ensure its unmistakable taste, beautiful color and special purity.
Enjoy RUM1823 or give it as a gift – a piece of Swiss distilling art with history.
